Gregory Bonin has worked in NJ local government for over 24 years, starting as a municipal clerk and holding the position of Administrator for 21 years. He has worked for eight different communities and has brought his experiences from each together to create a well-rounded manager capable of providing a skilled and practical management platform.

A New Jersey native, Gregory was raised in Maplewood where his father was the Chief Financial Officer and his sister was a police officer. He served many years on the local volunteer first aid squad where he first learned the value of giving back to his community.

He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science degree from Kean College (now University) where he graduated with Cum Laude honors. He continued his education by earning his Master`s Degree in Public Administration from Rutgers University, achieving Magna Cum Laude honors with national honor status. He holds NJ State certifications as a Registered Municipal Clerk and a Qualified Purchasing Agent.

Gregory is a member of several statewide professional organizations, including the New Jersey Municipal Management Association for which he was President in 2014. He is a teacher in the Rutgers Mini MPA program providing students applied knowledge and experiences in the Managing and Leading Organizations class.

Gregory resides in Hillsborough NJ with his wife and 3 children.
